The Ministry of the Interior has published an interactive map where you can consult the new buildings or reforms that are developed in Andalusia within the framework of the Infrastructure Plan for State Security 2019-2025, specifically 70 actions in National Police stations, barracks and posts of the Civil Guard and other improvements in security infrastructures, such as penitentiaries, which add a figure of 163.8 million euros in different actions distributed throughout the community.
The map, which can be filtered by provinces, is hosted on the website of the Ministry of the Interior at the link https://www.interior.gob.es/opencms/es/prensa/mapa-de-infraestructuras/, where information is provided on investment, current status of the project, as well as its location to facilitate the location of the infrastructures.
Through this map, which is in update, is given an account of each of the performances in Andalusia with specific logos of National Police (34), Civil Guard (21) and Penitentiary Institutions (15). By clicking on each of them you will be able to obtain information of the number of actions, total investment of the actions and specific information of the project.
The Infrastructure Plan for State Security 2019-2025 contemplates more than 400 actions throughout Spain, which are executed by the Society of Infrastructure and Prison Facilities and State Security (SIEPSE), with a financing of 1 billion euros, 600 million of the Plan’s own funds plus 400 million European Union funds destined for modernization and energy efficiency works.
In fact, all the works that are being carried out incorporate key elements of sustainability and criteria of almost zero energy consumption and zero emissions, such as high-efficiency air-conditioning, photovoltaic solar panels, centralized control of facilities for consumption control, LED lighting or electric vehicle charging stations.
