The Government of Spain delivers a declaration of Recognition and Reparation to the family of Puig Antich and declares null and void the court and sentence that condemned him

The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, has given the family of Salvador Puig Antich a declaration of Recognition and Reparation as a victim of Franco’s regime. “Our democracy has among its functions and obligations to repair those who were victims of the dictatorship. Our democracy is not complete if the damage is not recognized and repaired,” he said.
