The Minister of Territorial Policy and spokeswoman of the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, met today in the Senate with the spokeswoman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Eva Granados, and with the founder and creative director of Malasmadre and co-founder of ‘Yo No Renuncio’, Laura Baena.
Isabel Rodríguez highlighted the commitment of the Government of Spain to move forward in a social and political pact that favors the reconciliation of work, family and personal life, co-responsibility between men and women and the redistribution of leisure, work and care times. To achieve this goal, the minister has positively valued the proposals of Yo No Renuncio to promote progress at the parliamentary level.
At the meeting, they addressed the initiative of the Socialist Group of the Senate, with the support of Minister Isabel Rodríguez, requesting today the creation of a study paper on policies of equality and co-responsibility - conciliation, for debate in the Committee on Family, Childhood and Adolescence Rights.
