The Minister of Territorial Policy and spokeswoman for the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, said today that “there has never been a Government in Spain more committed to the Canary Islands”.
This has been expressed after an intense day of meetings in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where he chaired, together with the President of the Canary Islands, Víctor Ángel Torres, the constitution of the Bilateral Commission of Canary Islands-State Cooperation, the meeting of the Joint Commission of Transfers Administration of the State-Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands and the signing of two agreements to finance municipal infrastructures damaged by the volcano with the Palmer mayors Sergio Javier Ramirez (El Paso) and David Ruiz (accidental mayor of Tazacorte).
