The Minister of Territorial Policy and spokeswoman for the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, has met today with representatives of the Platform of Senior Citizens and Pensioners (PMP).
The PMP was born after a process of confluence of the most important organizations, federations and confederations of seniors and pensioners in the country, integrates 15,079 associations with almost six million members and facilitates dialogue with the public authorities and other social actors.
Other organizations included in the Platform include the Democratic Union of Pensioners, the Spanish Confederation of Elderly Organizations, the Platform of Patient Organizations, the National Organization of the Spanish Blind (ONCE) and the Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities (CERMI).
