The Minister of Territorial Policy and spokeswoman for the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, stressed that “Illes Balears is today the locomotive that drives growth in Spain and leads job creation and the deployment of recovery funds.”
Isabel Rodríguez, who appeared in a press conference with the president of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Francina Armengol, after the meeting they held in Palma, added that “25% of the employment created in Spain in the last month has been created in the Balearic Islands with 81% of the contracts indefinite”.
The minister recalled that in the Balearic archipelago the demand for very vulnerable workers was born, the waitresses, the Government listened to them and has ended the precariousness in employment: “The labor reform has returned dignity to the workers of our country, it is putting an end to precariousness and high unemployment rates in barely a hundred days since its approval. It reconciles us with our raison d’être in politics to be here today where the best employment data from all over Spain are recorded”.
