The Minister of Territorial Policy and Public Service, Miquel Iceta, together with the Secretary General of Public Service, Javier Rueda, and the Director General of Public Service, Isabel Borrel, presided over the meeting of the Higher Personnel Commission of the General State Administration (AGE), where he presented the document on ‘Guidelines for the change of selective processes’.
The Higher Personnel Commission is one of the highest civil service bodies of the AGE, with coordination and advisory functions for the development of personnel policy, in which the under-secretaries and under-secretaries of the various ministerial departments are integrated.
The document with the general criteria for the change of the selective processes is integrated into a broader project, which will soon be presented publicly, of Talent Acquisition in the AGE.
The change of the selective processes for a 21st century Administration will update the model based on a strategic human resources planning, adapting the selective processes to the new social, technological and educational reality, redefining the selective courses, streamlining the celebration of tests and professionalizing the selection bodies.
