The Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Public Service, Víctor Francos, has presided over the second General Council of MUFACE of 2021 together with the Director General of the Mutuality, Myriam Pallarés, and the Director General of Public Governance, Olivié Bayón.
The Secretary of State has shown the strength of MUFACE, “an organization that ensures the access of mutualists to health and pharmaceutical benefits under the same conditions as the rest of the National Health System and that facilitates social benefits to the collective”.
Memory 2020
According to Víctor Francos, the 2020 Report of MUFACE summarizes “the enormous effort made by the workers of the Mutuality during this very difficult year for everyone, both personally and at work, ensuring at all times that the attention to the mutualists continues to be given with the greatest guarantees”.
Along with the report, the document has also been presented with the 92 measures adopted by the Mutuality during the past year to deal with the critical situation generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Council has also been informed of the good progress of the vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, of which the Secretary of State has highlighted the important work done by the Mutuality, “transferring to the health authorities of all territories the necessary information so that the mutualists can be cited for their vaccination in accordance with the prioritization defined for the National Health Service.”
In this regard, Francos has positively valued “the campaign of updating data carried out by the Mutualidad so that the collective of concerted option can be located and called for its vaccination”.
MUFACE Plan Progress Tracking
Another of the topics addressed at the meeting was that of the new strategic plan of MUFACE for the years 2021-2023, which is expected to be followed up every four months in order to analyze the degree of compliance with all commitments.
The Plan provides for the drafting and subsequent approval of the Statute of the Autonomous Agency of MUFACE, which aims to adapt the organizational rule of the Mutuality to the new administrative laws and to the new realities of management and operation of the agency.
