The European portal Tu Europa /Your Europe (youreurope.eu) integrates the EU's unique digital gateway for citizens and businesses.
This portal provides citizens and businesses with easy access to the information, procedures and assistance and problem-solving services they need to exercise their rights within the internal market.
You can find the relevant, reliable, and quality information you need to live, work, study, buy, travel, or do business anywhere in the EU. The information is available in the local languages of each country and in English.
The digital event held in Spain
On June 15, 2021, Spain hosted the digital itinerant campaign of Your Europe, in which events of dissemination of the portal are being held in different countries of the EU.
This session focused on digital transformation and its impact on society, especially from the field of information.
Emphasis has been placed on its impact on travel (road travel planning), studies (at home or abroad) and consumer rights (online shopping in particular).
The objective of the digital events of dissemination of this web portal is to raise awareness among citizens and companies about the different online services that exist, which will help them reduce the administrative burden that they endure and that will save them time and money.
Alignment of European and National Policies
Strengthening the single market and achieving a Digital Europe are priorities of the European Commission.
At the national level, the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan includes actions to reform and modernize public administrations, promoting the improvement of digital public services provided to citizens and companies.
These approaches are aligned in the common objective of adapting European and national policies to the challenges of contemporary society.
European and national web portals that approach the citizen
The web portal “Your Europe” (Your Europe) offers information in a simple language adapted to users without specialized knowledge.
Similar objective has the electronic General Access Point of the General Administration of the State (http://administracion.gob.es), a horizontal web portal with which the Spanish Public Administration tries to get closer to the citizens to meet their growing needs for reliable information, in friendly language.
