The Official State Gazette (BOE) publishes today Friday the call of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function for various selective processes for the General State Administration (AGE), whose examinations will begin in November.
There are 10,254 places, of which 799 (7%) are reserved for the quota of people with disabilities. Of the total number of seats in the selection processes that are being convened today, 3,803 places stand out for the General Administrative Corps of State Administration (850 free shift, 2,950 internal promotion and 3 for stabilization), 3,162 for the General Auxiliary Corps of State Administration (650 free shift, 1,500 internal promotion and 1,012 stabilization).
There are also 2,239 seats for the State Civil Administration Management Corps (781 free, 1,050 internal promotion and 408 stabilization) and 480 seats for the State Administration Systems and Informatics Management Corps (280 free admission and 200 internal promotion).
These calls correspond to the Public Employment Offers 2019 and 2020 and the Stabilization Offers 2017 and 2018.
The processes are already streamlined
The Minister of Territorial Policy and Public Function, Miquel Iceta, presented on Wednesday of this week the document ‘Guidelines to update the selective processes in the General Administration of the State’, to adapt them to the generational change, the emergence of artificial intelligence and the new talent needs required by the administration of the 21st century.
One of the main conclusions, after months of debate in which a hundred experts in the field of personnel selection have participated, has been the necessary acceleration of the selective processes, that the measures are gradually applied until their total implementation in 2025.
In the calls that are published today, one of these measures is already applied to speed up the selective processes: the realization of two examinations, theoretical and practical, on the same day, which will allow to shorten the duration of the development of the tests and avoid displacements to the opponents.
