The Minister of Territorial Policy and Public Service, Carolina Darias, accompanied by the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Public Service, Francisco Hernández Spínola, has visited Lisbon with the aim of continuing to advance the commitments made between Spain and Portugal at the XXXI Hispano-Lusa Summit held last October in Guarda.
The Minister held, first of all, a working meeting with the Minister of Territorial Cohesion of Portugal, Ana Abrunhosa and the Secretary of State for Valorisation of the Interior, Isabel Ferreira, accompanied by the Ambassador of Spain in Portugal, Marta Betanzos, with whom she has continued to deepen the proposal for a memorandum of understanding and cooperation of the governments of Spain and Portugal and the island outermost regions of Madeira, the Azores and the Canary Islands.
Then Carolina Darias and Francisco Hernández Spínola, accompanied by the ambassador of Spain in Portugal, Marta Betanzos, met with the Minister of Modernization of the State and Public Administration, Alexandra Leitão.
