Public employees are 2,597,712, according to the latest Statistical Bulletin of Personnel in the Service of Public Administrations, published by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function for January 2020, with a slight increase in the whole public sector compared to the last statistical bulletin (July 2019) of 2,137 (0.08%) more personnel.
