The meeting allowed us to get to know first-hand the concerns, demands and proposals transferred by the entities that work daily with the Palm Tree youth. Among the main challenges identified were access to housing, the need to generate stable and qualified employment, the strengthening of the educational and training offer, the improvement of opportunities for emancipation, the promotion of youth entrepreneurship and mental health care, especially after the emotional impact derived from the volcanic eruption.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of strengthening the participation of young people in the design of public policies and of consolidating spaces for meeting, training and community dynamization that will strengthen the roots of the new generations.
