The Government of Spain (Ministry of Labour and Social Economy) has once again approved the Comprehensive Employment Plan for La Palma, following its ascension with
a new allocation of EUR 30 million, approved at the Council of Ministers on 9 July this year, previously also included different allocations:
63Meur Plan Extº. Employment and Training to the CA (s/art.9 of RDL 20/2021, of 5.oct.21)
30Meur Integral Employment Plan La Palma (PGE2023).
30Meur Plan recently approved, Royal Decree 659/2024, of 9 July (Employment and Training Plan CA: 45Meur).
Which makes a total of:
63+30+30=123M exclusive to La Palma in terms of training and employment.
In short: For the funding in terms of training and employment, aimed at counteracting the effects of the volcanic eruption in the Reconstruction of the island of La Palma on the society and economy of the island, the sum in 2024 with the aforementioned allocations, amounts to a total of 123 M€.-
