Inauguration of project DELTA exhibition "Biodiversity in the Baltic Deltas" a journey through the fajanas of the Tajogaite volcano in which we find the main species of the area. The exhibition has been based on the changes produced in the marine environment on lava, giving rise to the development of the blue economy, reasonable to the conditions of sustainability and preservation of biodiversity . This exhibition has been achieved thanks to the biological observation campaigns that have demonstrated the gradual process of recovery of the marine ecosystem in the ballistic deltas. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Energy, PLOCAN, the Special Commissioner for the Reconstruction of the island of La Palma, the Cabildo de La Palma and the City of Tazacorte and the Coordinator of the DELTA project.
Héctor Izquierdo, Special Commissioner, points out that "this is a great opportunity for La Palma, because this concept of sea, sky and land is complemented by something very important, and that is that we are on an oceanic platform of 4,000 meters deep with great potential not only for research, but also for the generation of palm companies from different sectors related to the ocean and renewable energies, because we want to continue supporting La Palma and Tazacorte"
