Possible energy alternatives for the island of La Palma, with new projects in renewable energies such as wind, solar and with great interest in geothermal energy to build a clean and efficient future, with the advantage of availability 24 hours a day, all year round, taking advantage of the internal heat of the earth. Support is being received for feasibility studies, with the island of La Palma having a good number of initiatives that are very likely to be viable.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE), Joan Groizard Payeras, Special Commissioner for the Reconstruction of the island of La Palma, Héctor Izquierdo Triana, among others.
