Travel to the island of La Palma by the Minister of Territorial Policy, Ángel Víctor Torres, accompanied among others by Sergio Rodríguez, President of the Cabildo, Héctor Izquierdo Triana, Special Commissioner for Reconstruction, visiting Puerto Naos and La Bombilla where is located the gas detector control center of the CO2 Alert project, in charge of monitoring. The minister described the project as "pioneering, unprecedented and unique in the world".
The president, Sergio Rodríguez, has highlighted the collaboration of the different institutions working in a coordinated way in monitoring and decision-making for the gradual return of neighbors to these evacuated centers. Ángel Víctor Torres, said that from the Government of Spain "there is a financing until 2025 of three million euros for the acquisition of sensors, which is also expandable what is necessary so that, as soon as possible and with maximum security, we can have a normalized life in these nuclei".
