The development plan for the 2021-2026 electric power transmission network has been reformed with the award of the Ministry of Ecological Transition of 20.2 million euros to the island of La Palma.
Currently , the island has an electric circuit of 42 kilometers that connects Santa Cruz with the Aridane Valley, thus achieving a double circuit with an energy transport line between the Guinchos and Fuencaliente that will allow to advance in the network towards the south, creating a ring of 66 Kilovolts (Kv).
