Forced ventilation, a measure proposed by scientists to combat the concentration of gases in Puerto Naos and to coexist with CO2.
A budget of 3 million euros has been processed by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, managed by the National Geological Institute (IGN) to manage different measures. One of these measures is the installation of meters to map and locate the zones of greater and lesser concentration of gases, and thus act accordingly. Another important measure is the forced ventilation of the underground garages, to ensure the safety of residents and visitors of the area, reported The Special Commissioner for the Reconstruction of the island of La Palma, Héctor Izquierdo, in a press conference on the measures being taken to address the problem of gases in the neighborhoods of Puerto Naos and La Bombilla.
We have good news about it, as the material needed to work in the ventilation of the first garage is already in La Palma and it is expected that this week it will be assembled to start working.
