Within the Café Azaña cycle, the Cervantes Institute will host on January 27 the Azaña meeting on stage.
In this dialogue, an incursion is going to be made into the facet of playwright of Manuel Azaña, who among his important literary production has theatrical works such as La Corona.
The playwrights and stage directors Ernesto Caballero and Liuba Cid will participate in this dialogue. The artistic action will also focus on the theater and will be carried out by the actress Montse Simón.
Café Azaña is a cycle of talks and meetings in which historians, representatives of the world of the University, literature, arts or politics help to know better both the political Azaña and the intellectual and writer.
This initiative is part of the monographic program organized by the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, through the Secretary of State for Democratic Memory, in collaboration with Acción Cultural Española, and together with public and private organizations in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the death of Manuel Azaña in exile.
