The Senate welcomes an emotional tribute in recognition of the victims of the Spanish Civil War who had to leave the country during the dictatorship. The act coincides with the beginning of a year in which it will be eight decades since the end of the war and the beginning of the dictatorship. There are victims and relatives who criticize the abandonment suffered by this group. In the words of Dolores Delgado, Minister of Justice, "Exile is not the past, it is not the memory, it is the dignity of the future and the survival of the values that follow".
