The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, travels to the French towns of Colliure, Montauban, and Argelès-sur-Mer to pay tribute to the figures of Antonio Machado and Manuel Azaña and, with them, to hundreds of thousands of compatriots who crossed the French border on their way to exile after the Civil War. The president has visited the tombs of both, where a minute’s silence has been kept and the commemorative plaques have been discovered. Tribute to the Spanish exiles and exiles on the beaches of Argelès-sur Mer, where a large internment camp was built. The Minister of Education and Professional Training, Isabel Celaá, the Minister of Justice Dolores Delgado, relatives of Machado and Azaña, and the singer-songwriters Rosa León and Paco Ibáñez take part in this tribute trip.
