- Marisol Garmendia: “The Government of Spain continues to bet on the reindustrialization of the Basque economy”
- Mercedes Benz will receive 5.9 M€ from PERTE VEC III and the Ministry of Industry and Tourism has also awarded 880,000 euros to Berritzen Surface Finishes (Bizkaia) and 710.00 euros to Megatech Industries (Amurrio)
- Telmo Rodríguez Wine Company (Álava) receives 305,000 euros from PERTE AGRO II.
The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has provisionally awarded 41 million euros from the third call for the Electric and Connected Vehicle PERTE in its value chain section to 21 companies. In the distribution of awards, highlight the 5.9 M€ that Mercedes Benz will receive, the 880,000 euros destined for the Biscayan company Superficial Finishes Berritzen and the 710,000 euros to the Alavesa Megatech Industries.
A very positive announcement for the delegate of the Government in the Basque Country, Marisol Garmendia and more considering that this aid is in addition to the more than 400 M€ in aid that has already arrived in the Basque Country from the three phases of PERTE VEC. “This money confirms that the Government of Spain continues to bet on the reindustrialization of the Basque economy”, highlights Garmendia,
The delegate of the Government highlights “the beneficial effects that this aid has to promote industrial development and the generation of quality employment in sectors as strategic for the Basque and Spanish economy as automotive and agriculture”.
The objective of this line is to promote investment plans for the industrial value chain of the electric and connected vehicle, its systems, subsystems and components, as well as certain auxiliary infrastructure systems necessary for its deployment.
