The National Police has arrested four people accused of alleged crimes of coercive prostitution and belonging to a criminal group.
The investigation began when agents of the Bilbao Immigration and Border Brigade learned that in a chalet in the Bolueta neighborhood where prostitution was practiced, they were imposing abusive conditions on women who carried out this activity that seriously affected their health and honor.
After the necessary inquiries, they found that in this house there were at least six women subjected to sexual exploitation by a criminal group composed of four members who were left with fifty percent of the benefit of each service, who forced them to consume drugs with customers and who made them perform sexual practices without their consent, such as oral sex without a condom.
In order to prevent the victims from continuing under these painful conditions as soon as possible and after obtaining the necessary judicial authorization, on Thursday, May 11, the entrance and registration were made in the chalet, finding inside it seven women, six of them victims and a seventh that was part of the criminal group, in charge of controlling at that time the young women, so that they were immediately arrested and brought to justice.
In addition, in the registry the agents also found almost a thousand euros in cash, pills of Viagra, a bag with marijuana and notebooks with annotations related to the services performed by the victims, which confirmed the initial suspicions.
In the absence of a complete dismantling of the criminal group, the investigators continued with the investigations until this Tuesday they detained the other three components, two women and a man with a previous history of child pornography. They were placed at the disposal of the Court of Guard of Bilbao, which ordered their release on charges.
