The Government delegate in Navarre, Alicia Echeverría, visited today the REVITAS EXPANDE project, one of the initiatives selected by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy within the framework of the PERTE of Social Economy and Care.
It is a program that seeks to strengthen the social economy and inclusion in depopulated rural areas of Navarra and La Rioja, and that is born from the union of two social entities of the Foral Community such as the Koine Aequalitas Foundation and the Association of People with Disabilities in the Ribera de Navarra, AMIMET. This project aims to meet the needs of generational relief in the agricultural and care sector
It has a total investment of 461,328.72 euros, of which 230,664 euros are subsidized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy within the framework of the Social Economy and Care PERTE.
A transformative project
REVITAS EXPANDE was born with the aim of creating employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for people in situations of social vulnerability and/or disability, with special emphasis on young people and women. It focuses on key sectors such as agriculture and care services, promoting generational relay in local businesses and improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of the social economy.
Through the generation of employment and the strengthening of the social economy, it aspires to become a replicable model at the national level, contributing to the dynamization of rural areas and ensuring the socio-labor inclusion of vulnerable groups.
