The Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, announced today the latest provisional awards of the PERTE VEC III with 31 new projects of 22 companies in line B linked to the industrial value chain of the electric vehicle. In total, 148.9 million euros are approved in grant and more than 67 million euros in loans.
Two of these projects are in Navarre. Specifically, it is 3.55 million euros for the Volkswagen plant, and 1.15 million euros for Integralia Mobility.
The objective of this line is to promote investment plans for the industrial value chain of the electric and connected vehicle, its systems, subsystems and components, as well as certain auxiliary infrastructure systems necessary for its deployment.
Hereu has said that its department has already paid more than 5.742 billion euros from the European funds it manages. And it has specified that the Ministry of Industry and Tourism has already awarded through the industrial PERTES more than 3.2 billion euros for these strategic projects, which are allowing Spain to become a leading industrial hub in Europe.
The Minister of Industry and Tourism has reiterated the Government’s commitment to electric mobility and added that the automotive sector knows that aid for the acquisition of electrified vehicles will be recovered.
