The “PassVRord Experience”, an itinerant exhibition organized by the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), can be visited in Pamplona until Saturday, October 5. It is an initiative that tries to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity in a playful way, through games adapted to different audiences.
The exhibition was visited today by the delegate of the Government in Navarre, Alicia Echeverría, the councilor of University, Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Government of Navarre, Patricia Fanlo, and the general director of Telecommunications and Digitalization of the foral executive, Josean Vizcay.
The “PassVRord Experience” consists of two zones. One of them, a training space that offers basic cybersecurity guidelines that can be applied on a day-to-day basis and that help you enjoy technology in a safe way. The second space is the playing area where you can enjoy an immersive experience that, through virtual reality, invites you to solve challenges in terms of cybersecurity.
The goal is to address everyday issues such as creating and maintaining secure passwords; online privacy and how to protect it; what is social engineering and the most common associated frauds, such as phishing, vishing and smishing; or how to conduct effective parental mediation with minors in their digital world.
The “PassVRord Experience” can be visited on the Anelier promenade in Pamplona until Saturday 5th from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 19:30, and from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 on Saturday. It is a free activity aimed at people over 14 years old. The estimated duration is one hour in groups of 30 people.
The “Roadshow Experience” in Estella
In parallel, another itinerant sample of INCIBE can be visited in the town of Estella. It is the “Roadshow Experience”, a drop-down truck that travels through different provinces and that consists, in turn, of two spaces. In an interior area you can enjoy an escape room in which to solve cybersecurity problems as a team; a gamification space to learn in a fun way with different games; and an exhibition area, in which various contents on cybersecurity are developed in an agile and simple way. The exhibition is completed with an outdoor space that offers visitors board games and the possibility of making inquiries to the telephone service 017 “Your Help in Cybersecurity” of INCIBE.
The Roadshow Experience can be visited on Teobaldo de Estella Street, also until Saturday, from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 19:30 and from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 on Saturday. It is a free activity for people over 10 years old and with an estimated duration of one hour in groups of 25 people.
