June 18, 2025. The delegate of the Government has today presented the medals of the Order of Civil Merit and Isabel la Católica, which recognize the civil merits of personnel dependent on one of the Public Administrations or persons outside the Administration who provide or have provided relevant services to the State.
Mariola Guevara has shown her consideration, appreciation and respect to all those decorated by individual trajectories and merits that, according to her, have a decisive impact on the life, security and well-being of an immense group impossible to quantify.
“Your work and your actions benefit all citizens and, therefore, in an effective and responsible way, we want to value with a clear desire for institutional cooperation, thanking and rewarding the work of other institutions or bodies to reinforce the appropriate mechanisms of exchange of resources that allow us to respond to our primary task of protection and attention to citizens,” he said during his speech.

The delegate of the Government, on behalf of all its public employees and the Government of Spain, has thanked the six winners “for the extraordinary work, profitable initiatives and exemplary fulfillment of their duties that have made you worthy of these medals”, and has had emotional words for Francisco Jiménez, Secretary General of the Delegation of the Government, who is on sick leave.
“Your extraordinary career of exemplary public service could not be understood without that affable, humble and conciliatory personality that precedes, strengthens and characterizes your work performance, enhancing the importance of the human factor as an intangible value that generates loyalties, emotional ties and, therefore, strengthens and favors the collective identification with a project and teamwork,” he concluded.
