October 30, 2024. At 13 hours tomorrow, Thursday, October 31, begins the Special Operation that the DGT launches on the occasion of the All Saints Bridge, in which 299,000 trips are expected on the roads of the Region of Murcia.
“This festive period will lead to an important movement of vehicles throughout the Spanish road network, so the circulation on our roads will be increased with long and short trips, many of which will be motivated by the traditional visit in these dates to the cemeteries of all the towns of the national geography,” explains Virginia Jerez, Provincial Traffic Chief, in relation to a device that will last until 24 hours on Sunday, November 3.
During these days, extraordinary control, regulation and surveillance services will be established in the main roads of the Region by the Traffic Group of the Civil Guard, which will mobilize 212 agents to attend traffic regulation tasks with the support of the Traffic Management Center of the Levante (CGTL) and the Variable Message Panels available on our main roads. In addition, they will have fixed and section speed control points, six mobile radar units, as well as air support (helicopters and drones) that could be programmed by the CGTL.
