- The elections will be held on November 26, date in which the votes will also be repeated in the nine electoral tables annulled by final judgment or by agreement of the competent Electoral Board
September 25, 2023. The Government has called elections in the 44 Spanish municipalities in which it did not contest any candidacy in the call for local elections on May 28. The Organic Law of the General Electoral Regime mandates that partial elections be held in these cases within six months.
This deadline expires on November 26, when these partial elections will be held in municipalities in the provinces of Burgos (four municipalities), Navarra (38), Segovia (one) and Teruel (one).
On that day, the election of councillors at nine polling stations will also be repeated, in which irregularities were detected that caused the annulment of their results by a final judgment or by agreement of the competent Electoral Board.
In both cases, the election campaign will last for fifteen days. It will begin at zero hours on Friday, November 10, and end at twenty-four hours on Friday, November 24.
