“Melilla, between 2024 and 2025, will receive 100 million euros in employment”. The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, in the interview El Inicio de Televisión Melilla, explained that our city has already received 60 million euros and that the amount will rise to 100 million euros in active employment policies and for benefits and subsidies in these two years.
Of these 100 million euros, as explained by the highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city, 60 million are going to be allocated in active employment policies, especially when this year, as has already been announced, a double Employment Plan of the Government Delegation is going to take place. “We are already working on this second Employment Plan,” said Moh, who announced that they have started with the organization of the Plan.
Thus, with regard to active employment policies, the investments executed from February 2024 to the present amount to 33,377,000 euros, to which must be added the 25,800,000 euros that are going to be invested in the remainder of this year 2025, which makes a total of 59,177,000 euros.
In terms of benefits and subsidies, Melilla has received 25,951,000 euros over the past year 2024 to date to which another 13,356,000 euros will be added during the next months of this year, which implies a sum of 39,308,000 euros.
