The Local Police Headquarters has hosted a new meeting of the Local Security Board that has addressed the coordinated security device between the State Security Forces and Bodies (FyCSE) and the Local Police for this summer.
During the meeting, the special plan ‘Playa Segura’ was approved, which enters into force today and will remain active until next September. The main objective of the device is to ensure an adequate climate of citizen security on the beaches of Melilla, reinforcing the presence and joint action of the FyCSE and the Local Police.
The plan also includes the improvement of coordination with other services that carry out protection and information work in the beach environment, considered necessary collaborators in the field of security. Likewise, it seeks to speed up the actions and reduce the response times for any incident.
The meeting was attended by the Delegate of the Government in Melilla, Sabrina Moh, the Councilor for Citizen Security, José Ronda, as well as commanders and representatives of the Civil Guard, National Police and Local Police.
