“The idea is that all Infant and Primary schools can take part in the dining room service, either in person or through a catering service that can provide the dining room.”
The Provincial Director of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) in Melilla, Elena Fernández Treviño, has made it clear that “we believe that it is an essential service for families to be able to conciliate and to have the centers with all the necessary equipment and services”.
The head of the Provincial Directorate explained that the contract for the dining room of ‘León Solá’ has already been awarded and the Ministry of Education, through a call-back of competences, is working directly on the documents for the course that comes from the contracts of ‘León Solá’ itself, as well as ‘Encarna León’ and ‘Reina Sofía’, which will soon be put out to tender.
