The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, has offered the Autonomous City the possibility of the Modular Classrooms being used as a tanatorium, until the end of the works that the local Executive is carrying out in this space.
“The general interest of the Melillenses is above any other issue and the Public Administrations have to be there to respond to what the citizens need. We are very clear about this and we carry it out as a principle in all our actions,” he said.
The head of the Government Delegation has made this offer to the Executive of Imbroda after he has started a work in the municipal tanatorium without, previously, having provided a space to accommodate this purpose for the duration of the arrangements, which is causing serious harm to the families of Melilla who use this service.
Moh pointed out that this is a very sensitive issue, so he addressed this issue with the Ministry of Education “with the sole objective of seeking a viable solution.”
“All the administrations should put the interests of the melillenses before any other issue”, he said, and recalled that they always collaborate actively with the other administrations and institutions when required, and this is how he referred to the Band, Orchestra and Choir ‘Ciudad de Melilla’ (ASBANOR), which since last October has carried out its activity in the CEIP ‘Encarna León’ after the School of Music ‘Paula Guillén Gallego’ suffered serious damage from a flood.
“Melillenses can be certain that the Government Delegation will continue to look after their interests and work for the well-being of this city,” he said.
