The Government Delegation hosted on Tuesday afternoon the second session of the days to bring the resources of the General Administration of the State (AGE) closer to the Gypsy population, meetings promoted by the Cultural Association ‘Gypsies of the 21st Century’.
The meeting was led by the highest representative of the Government of Spain in the city, Sabrina Moh, who valued the commitment of the Government Delegation to make available to the citizens all the information, training and awareness of the resources of the AGE.
This second day focused on the resources of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). In particular, the procedures, information and services on pensions or social security benefits have been addressed.
The Provincial Director of the INSS in Melilla, Augusto Hoyo, has shelved a battery of measures and benefits managed by the public agency, among which are consultations and applications for retirement pensions, before the death of a family member or the right to public health care in Spain and abroad.
Likewise, Hoyo has explained the procedure for the application and management of the Minimum Vital Income (IMV), “aid intended to guarantee a minimum level of income to people in situations of economic vulnerability”. During the meeting, the attendees were able to consult their main doubts and concerns with the Provincial Director and with the Government Delegate.
For all of this, Hoyo has explained the use of the web portal to consult personal data, manage health care, perform a simulation of the retirement pension or keep track of the procedures: https://prestaciones.seg-social.es/
