The Ministry of Defense has hosted a meeting between its head, Margarita Robles, and the Delegate of the Government in Melilla, Sabrina Moh, in which the Melillense has transferred to the ministerial responsible different projects of interest to the city.
At the meeting, which took place this noon, the highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city highlighted the commitment of the Ministry of Defense to the city of Melilla, which, among other issues, has been evidenced in the demanial concessions granted free of charge to date and which exceed 166,000 square meters.
Moh has highlighted the permanent communication that has been carried out for six years between the Delegation and the Ministry that directs Robles and that aims to respond to the present and future needs of the Melillense citizens.
In this regard, the Delegate of the Government has pointed out that the collaboration and coordination between both institutions will not only be maintained but will be strengthened in order to continue working for the general interest of the city.
Robles recalled the connection of Melilla with the Armed Forces, personified in the more than 3,200 soldiers of the ‘Alfonso XIII’ Base. A link that also exists interadministratively to carry out projects of interest to the city.
