The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has convened the scholarships for participation in an intensive program of linguistic immersion in English, during the month of July. The maximum number of scholarships is 2,400.
As explained by the Provincial Director, Elena Fernández Treviño, “the program promotes the active participation of students, in boarding schools, in various activities in order to improve the understanding of the language and, fundamentally, to promote the oral practice of the English language”.
Beneficiaries
Fernández Treviño has detailed that those born between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2008, who are enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year in Baccalaureate, Professional Teaching of Music and Dance, Medium Degree of Professional Training, Medium Degree of Plastic Arts and Design, Medium Degree of Sports Teaching and Intermediate or Advanced Language Teaching will be eligible for this assistance.
In addition, those interested must have the status of MEFPyD Fellow, have approved all the subjects of the academic year 2023-2024, with a minimum grade of 9 points in the English subject. In the case of applicants who are enrolled in bilingual education, but have not completed the subject of English as an individualized subject in the previous course, the qualification obtained in the English subject of the fourth year of Compulsory Secondary Education will be taken into account.

The deadline for submitting applications ends on March 13.
