The Delegate of the Government in Melilla, Sabrina Moh, visited this morning the living Bethlehem that the La Salle El Carmen School organizes each year to commemorate this Christian holiday and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.
Primary and secondary school students have been in charge of showing the most significant scenes of the biblical passages in which moments such as the Annunciation, the dream of Saint Joseph, the Birth in the portal of Bethlehem or the Adoration of the Magi of the East are narrated.
The head of the Government Delegation was accompanied by the Provincial Director of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) of Melilla, Juan Ángel Berbel; the Head of the Educational Programs Unit, María Victoria Menchacatorre; and part of the team of the Provincial Directorate of Education.
The director of the School, Jorge García Gamero, characterized as a shepherd, has been in charge of guiding the authorities along the educational center, where they have been able to see the magnificent representation by the faculty and students, dressed according to the time.
The Delegate, who has visited the different passages and has shared with the students and teachers, has highlighted the work and involvement of the entire teaching team in the organization, preparation and staging of this Bethlehem and the good work of the students.
