The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has called for grants to participate in the national program "Environmental Education Centers" during 2025. Grants are called for a total of 64 groups of students for a maximum amount of 235,751.09 euros.
As explained by the Provincial Director, Juan Ángel Berbel, the grants for participation in the programmed activities will be developed in the “Environmental Education Centers” of Villardeciervos (Zamora) and Viérnoles (Cantabria) during 2025, sequenced in 2 shifts to develop in spring and autumn.
“With this program, we want to promote values such as training for peace, respect for human rights, common life, social cohesion, cooperation and solidarity among peoples, as well as the acquisition of values that promote respect for living beings and the rights of animals and the environment, in particular the value of forest spaces and sustainable development,” he said.
The beneficiaries of the program may be groups of students from Spanish educational centers that study 5th or 6th grade in Primary Education, Compulsory Secondary Education or Basic Vocational Training.
Submission of requests
The centers that wish to participate in this call, must request it through the direction of the same, forming groups of 20 to 23 students, which will be accompanied by two teachers of which they usually teach, including if possible a tutor or tutor.
The registration of the application will be done telematically at the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training by means of an electronic certificate issued by a certification authority recognized by the electronic signature validation platform @signature.
The documentation required to participate in this call, which will be attached electronically to the Application Form accessible electronically at the link https://sede.educacion.gob.es, "Procedures", will be as follows:
- Participation project (original and specific for this call).
- Document approving the participation of the center in the Program.
- In addition, the family authorizations of the students will be collected in the educational center and archived in it.
The deadline for submitting applications is January 21, 2025.
