‘Melillenses con Valencia’ has managed to collect more than 24,000 kg of non-perishable food of vegetable origin, basic products of personal hygiene, cleaning and protection, textile and school material, etc., to bring them to the Valencian Community to those affected by DANA.
The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, accompanied by the Director of Area of Agriculture of the Delegation of the Government, Isabel Bassets, the Head of the Customs Unit of Melilla, Daniel Imbroda, and heads of the Civil Guard, visited yesterday the facilities of the Food Bank of Melilla, from where the logistics have been organized to transfer this aid to the Food Bank of Valencia.
Throughout the week, preparations have been finalized to facilitate and coordinate customs procedures from the Government Delegation with Customs, Agriculture and Foreign Health.
The head of the Government Delegation thanked the work being done by the Melillenses who have invested with this initiative and pointed out that our city is a territory that always shows solidarity whenever necessary.
