The General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS) has launched a new mobile application, totally free of charge, with which you can: access the main data, carry out procedures such as registering as a self-employed person and know the situation in Social Security in an updated way.
In the words of the Provincial Director of the TGSS of Melilla, Augusto Hoyo, “it is a great step for citizens to have a closer and more fluid relationship with Social Security. Through this application, you can update and consult personal data, access detailed information on the contribution bases or download the Working Life Report easily, among many other services.”
The application brings citizens closer to the functionalities of the Import@ss portal (https://portal.seg-social.gob.es/) and adds some new ones, as well as the advantages of an app, such as receiving personalized notifications and push notifications, accessing with biometric identification - provided that it has been accessed with Cl@ve Permanente - or downloading documents and having them saved on the device, without having to have an Internet connection. All this with a simple navigation, easy and accessible at all times.

Once the app is downloaded to your device, there are three ways to authenticate:
• Permanent Cl@ve

• SMS
Once identified, you can configure push notifications and activate biometric access—with fingerprint or facial recognition—for future connections. Once this is done, you can access the information in a personalized way, carry out procedures and download reports.
If the citizen is not identified, the application will show general information about the services that the Treasury makes available to you.
Space for young people, self-employed, artists and household employment
The application offers four different profiles to relate to the TGSS: self-employed, household employment (for both employees and employers), artists and trainees.
The Freelance Work profile allows you to access all the information and procedures available if you are registered or are going to start working on your own account (high and low, modify the contribution base, consult receipts, simulate your quotas according to yields and much more).
In Home Employment, whether you work in the domestic environment, or it is for a citizen who is going to hire someone to work at home, you can consult the information and procedures that affect you such as calculating the fee to pay, processing high and low, updating the salary and working time of the person employed or consulting the receipts issued, among others.
For the collective of Artists, the information and procedures for those who work in this sector are available and it allows to manage the situation of inactivity, request the return of income by quoted bases or request the cancellation in the census of artists.
Coinciding with the start of the academic year, the section aimed at Young people is included, especially useful for those students who are doing training practices. It should be remembered that, since last January 1, unpaid practices also contribute to Social Security.
This new service collects all the information both for students who are going to start their internships and for those who have already started them, with the possibility that each student can access their personal profile, consult a complete guide to resolve doubts, know the benefits of the contribution or carry out procedures such as requesting your Social Security Number, downloading the Working Life Report or the Contribution Bases.
