The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, has defended the rigorous work of the National Police and Civil Guard, following the criticism made by the deputy for Melilla, Sofía Acedo, in relation to the resolution of asylum applications.
“The National Police and the Civil Guard do a rigorous job and they are the ones who set the times, the ones who set the deadlines and the ones who follow the procedures as established by law,” he defended. “The People’s Party cannot use the State Security Forces and Corps as it pleases, they cannot be given orders that go against the law,” he said.
The highest representative of the Government of Spain in the city has insisted that the PP should praise the work of the National Police and Civil Guard and “stop focusing on these issues”, instead of “criticizing the work of professionals who are equal to all the circumstances that always occur in Melilla”.
Sabrina Moh has asked the popular formation to “stop banalizing and stop frivolous with the work of these professionals in order to attack the Government Delegation”.
