The Government Delegation hosted yesterday a new meeting of the Local Security Board in which the coordinated security device between the State Security Forces and Bodies (FyCSE) and the Local Police has been addressed for the patron saint’s parties.
The fair device, as every year, has several phases. The first of these, in which they are currently immersed, is the assembly and supervision of the different issues, with the aim of providing security to the fair and the fairground since its beginning, on August 31.
During the patron celebrations, the security operation will be composed of Local Police and National Police, and the support of the Civil Guard in areas such as Puerto Noray. The allocation of services by security forces is around 400 agents by the National Police Force and 300 by the Civil Guard, in addition to the local police personnel, who will serve during all the holidays.
In this meeting, the details of the extensive security device that will ensure the good development of the Melilla Fair have been finalized, and all the activities planned during the festivities have been studied, as well as the device that is going to be organized in each of them.
The Board was chaired by the Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, and attended by the Councilor for Citizen Security, José Ronda; as well as those responsible for the Civil Guard, National Police and Local Police.
