The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has selected the Queen Victoria Eugenia Integrated Public Vocational Training Centre to participate in two innovation and research projects for the transfer of knowledge in VET.
The projects awarded are: “Digital showcase of the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta and Melilla”, in collaboration with CIFP No. 1 and the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Ceuta and Cristina Torres García (Foto Arte Design); and “Bases for the implementation of an environmental management system and promotion of sustainability in Vocational Training Centers”, with the CIPFP “La Costera”, of the Valencian Community, the CIFP “Joan Taix” and Sinergies I Balearic Islands.
As explained by the Provincial Director of our city, Juan Ángel Berbel, the applications presented were evaluated by a selection committee according to established criteria, being granted those projects that exceeded 40 points.
This call is funded by the EU Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Facility with a maximum amount of €120,000 per project.
The purpose of this concession is to finance the realization of innovation projects in Vocational Training centers supported with public funds and co-participated by companies or entities.
The Provincial Director recalled that the CIFP Reina Victoria Eugenia has already participated in innovation projects before. In the words of Berbel, “the granting of these two new projects is a challenge for the teachers involved and reverses in the improvement of the quality of teaching for their students, with the involvement of VET centers from other Communities and the exchange of ideas and working methods”.
Finally, he congratulated the teaching team of the CIFP “in that search for the improvement of professional qualification, so important in Professional Training”.
