The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD), has called for grants to cover school canteen services for students enrolled in non-university public schools in the cities of Melilla and Ceuta during the academic year 2024/2025, as reported by the Provincial Director, Juan Ángel Berbel.
For the city of Melilla a sum of 705,000 euros is allocated for a total of 750 grants, at a rate of 940 euros per student and course and the students will submit a single application indicating the type or types of grants requested, together with the mandatory documentation according to the text of the call.
General beneficiaries may be students who, fulfilling the requirements of the call for applications, are granted the aid, in accordance with the concurrent socio-economic circumstances, determined by per capita income, calculated in accordance with the provisions of articles 4 and 5 of the resolution published by the Secretary of State for Education, published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of June 11.
Students who are in foster care, children of victims of gender-based violence and/or victims of terrorism may also be direct beneficiaries of this assistance.
Students who, for various circumstances, enrol outside the deadlines established in this call may be beneficiaries of the grants provided that they meet the criteria and requirements set forth and there are vacant positions.
