The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, has shown her desire that the words of the President of the City and leader of the PP, Juan José Imbroda, are not a mere electoral strategy, given that we are immersed in the 9J campaign, and that the Autonomous City really joins the search for solutions to the Employment Plans, after a ruling has fallen on both administrations for this issue.
The head of the Government Delegation referred to the fact that the local President has announced this offer through the media instead of transferring it to the institution she runs. “When you want to solve a problem and want to involve another administration, the logical action would be to first make the offer to the Government Delegate and then make it public,” he acknowledged.
The fact is that, when this way of acting is changed and first published, especially when we are in an electoral period, “it seems more that it is an electoral campaign measure than it really is a concern on the part of the president of the Autonomous City to solve the problem.”
In any case, Moh has insisted that “as always, whenever you want to find a solution, the doors of the Delegation are open”, and has urged them, “if you really want to find a solution, contact this Delegation to be able to join the actions we have been carrying out with the State Attorney, with the General Intervention, with the Ministries involved…”.
Plans with guarantees
“The Autonomous City is also in the same situation as the Government Delegation, so I am very happy that they realize that there is a problem and what we should do is join forces and coordinate to give a structural response to a problem of this nature,” said the highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city.
Moh has recalled that the Government Delegation is working on finding solutions, so he would gladly see that the local president would like to join, but he has warned that what is needed is a “solution and not a patch.” “We must really analyze what is happening with the Employment Plan, which has historically been developed in a certain way, but which now, due to judicial rulings, changes the paradigm and, therefore, we must seek solutions,” he said.
In her speech to the media, Sabrina Moh explained that the solution is not only an economic issue, with regard to the issue of salary costs, “which we are also aware of and that this measure could be solved”, but also everything that entails the fact that the workers of the Plans are within the Convention.
At this point, he recalled that the Courts have given the Autonomous City “a shot in the ear” for the clause in which they introduced the change of agreement a few years ago and, therefore, he stressed that “what the Autonomous City should do is also analyze their situation and see that they have a real problem and express it to the citizens.”
In this regard, it has indicated that it will be necessary for this issue, which is above all a legal issue, to be perfectly linked so that, when the Employment Plans can be resumed, they are done with all the guarantees on the part of the Administration and safeguarding the rights of the workers participating in the Employment Plans.
