The Territorial Director of Imserso, Verónica Aznar, and the President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) of Melilla, Manuel Aznar, have today signed an agreement for a bank of technical aids for oncological patients or patients in an advanced chronic situation -palliative-.
The firm, which has been supported by the Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, and the Director of the Multipurpose Center for Services for Older People, Ibrahim Molina, has been taken to the Center for the Service for the Promotion of Personal Autonomy, in Polavieja, a space that hosts technical aids, and which is located just in front of the AECC units.
Thanks to this agreement, the AECC will be able to make use of articulated beds, wheelchairs, walkers or bath chairs, for those oncological patients who need it ceded by the Imserso.
The entity that directs Manuel Aznar detects, in its home visits to oncological patients, the needs of this type of technical assistance and, thanks to this agreement, can get this material quickly to those patients who need it.
