The company of Fran Antón is going to represent ‘La Casa de Bernarda Alba’ in the Kursaal Theater this Thursday for students of Second of Baccalaureate, a work with which starts the theater school campaign organized by the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Education, Professional Training and Sports (MEFPyD) and the Autonomous City.
This was announced by the Head of the Educational Programs Unit (UPE) of the Provincial Directorate, Victoria Menchacatorre, in an interview given to Onda Cero, in which she explained that, after the representation, a debate and dialogue between teachers and students will take place.
“This work is compulsory reading for the University Entrance Baccalaureate Assessment (EBAU), and I believe that the students will be given a different vision of the work and, when answering some questions of the exam, it will be very good to see this representation,” he said.
As Menchacatorre has explained, for secondary school students, the representation of ‘The dream of Estopignan’ will also be carried out by Ceres Machado, specifically for the third year students of ESO, in all the institutes of the city. An activity that will take place during the week of April 22 to 26.
And still with theater, but in terms of the Infantile cycle, the company La Cristal will make a bilingual adaptation of ‘Alice in Wonderland’, which will also be represented in all educational centers, on the return of Holy Week.
From the 4th to the 14th of May, by the hand of Álvaro Sola, ‘Family Things’ will be represented, for the students of the Primary School, also in all the educational centers of the city.
