The entrepreneurs of Melilla will provide a list with products as a proposal for the Royal Decree 332/2023 that regulates the compensation to the maritime and air transport of goods to or from Ceuta and Melilla.
The Government Delegate, Sabrina Moh, to questions from the media, explained that, “we have opened up to entrepreneurs to send us a list with proposals because we are, right now, in that phase of having to make a list of possible products to be able to bonus”.
“We have opened that participatory process to entrepreneurs so that they can send us their proposals and they can study and see the feasibility of incorporating them in that list and, therefore, of being able to be introduced for that bonus,” he said.
The highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city has made clear that “right now we are immersed in that procedure” to determine this list and await the call to launch this Royal Decree (RD).
However, Moh has explained to the entrepreneurs that, once implemented in the aforementioned RD, it will be possible to analyze and incorporate in the future any improvement proposal that we consider necessary.
Something that the Delegate has conveyed in the meetings she has had with the business representatives of the city and that “was clear in the meeting”. “They have been receptive to transferring all these proposals to us and when this procedure is finished, we will implement the Royal Decree,” he said.
In any case, Moh explained that, despite the fact that no contributions were made during the public term of the draft DR, “many issues have been incorporated, such as, for example, the bonus for the transport of dangerous goods or that of waste.”
Farmers' strike
In another order of things, she asks if the protests that farmers are making have affected the supply of our city, the Delegate has made it clear that Melilla has not been affected in anything.
“There was a punctual problem with a truck, but unconnected to this strike of transporters, therefore, here in Melilla, the situation is calm, normal, and we are supplied,” he said clearly.
