The Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training (MEyFP) in Melilla estimates that more than 2,600 students are enrolled in the training cycles of the different professional families, both of Basic Degree, Middle Degree or Higher Degree, and offers of Professional Training at a distance, as well as in the two specialization courses offered for students who have passed the Higher Degree linked to them.
As explained by the Provincial Director, Juan Ángel Berbel, the specialties with the most demand detected for the next course continue to be those of the Health, Administration or Informatics branch, and some in online mode that are offered as novelty this course.
This has indicated that, once the vacancies were awarded in the special period of September, after the first allocation of places in July, there are still some vacancies in all educational centers.
Thus, in the IES ‘Miguel Fernández’ the Higher Degree Training Cycle (CFGS) in “Communicative Mediation”, cycle that exercises its activity in the sector of services to deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing and with communication difficulties and the CFGS in “Education and Environmental Control” with which it is trained for the control of the environment and its resources or the development of environmental education programs among other functions. To obtain the academic degree of the ESO and the basic professional degree they can perform “Administrative Services”.
In the IES ‘Virgen de la Victoria’, the Middle Degree Training Cycle (CFGM) in “Marketing of Food Products”, whose professionals carry out their activity in the field of food trade, physical or online.
In the IES ‘Leopoldo Queipo’ there are vacancies in the Basic Degree Training Cycle (CFGB) of “Computer Science and Communications”, in the online CFGM of “Microcomputer Systems and Networks” and in the online CFGS “Web Application Development”.
At the IES ‘Juan Antonio Fernández Pérez’, the CFGM in Kitchen and the CFGS “Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance” and CFGS in “Promotion of Gender Equality”.
The cooking cycle develops its activity in companies of a sector as demanded in the city as is the hospitality industry and in establishments of the catering subsector in which pre-processing, elaboration and, where appropriate, food service processes are developed.
And these two cycles of higher degree also fall within sectors of great labor need in Melilla, the first one carries out its activity in the tourism sector and the one of “Promotion” provides its services in the sector of gender equality, in institutions, unions, companies, consultants, municipal services, equality bodies, etc.…
At the IES ‘Enrique Nieto’, CFGS places are offered “Social and Tourist Animation”, a cycle to work as professionals in community development and youth information, in the sector of cultural services: reading and information, information and communication technologies, diverse resources and cultural products, in the sector of tourist services and in the sector of leisure and leisure: leisure and sports, environmental and outdoor activities.
As for the CFGM in “Aesthetics and Beauty” and the CFGS in “Styling and Hairdressing Management”, both with vacant positions in the IES ‘Rusadir’, train professionals who have a direct relationship with the personal image, to develop their profession both in companies and establishments of the local sector and to create their own business, promoting the entrepreneurial spirit of young people.
Finally, in the CIFP ‘Reina Victoria Eugenia’, vacancies are offered in the cycles of the Professional Family of Image and Sound, CFGM in “Video DJ and Sound” and in the CFGS of “Lighting, capture and image treatment”, for professionals in the field of sound and productions of film, video, television, multimedia, radio, record industry, etc… and in the field of spectacular lighting, in all kinds of shows and events.
For those interested in taking a specialization course, there are free places also in the specialty of “Maintenance and safety in hybrid and electric vehicle systems”, with which to exercise your activity in this highly demanded sector.
Those interested in taking one of these training cycles and did not pre-register or were placed on the waiting list for other specialties only have to go to the educational center itself to request a place and present the relevant documentation in the Secretariat of the center where they will be informed of the permanent updating of available places as the registration in this extraordinary admission process progresses.
